Thank you to everyone that braved the elements and came to the Oxford Canal Festival last month. We had a fantastic response to the mural competition with about 200 people voting for the designs they want to see on the mural.

Oxford Canal Festival
Come along to the Oxford Canal Festival on the 25th June and vote for your favorite designs to be included on the new canal murals. All the designs will be displayed between 2-6pm at Aristotle Lane Recreation Ground. Vote for the designs you want to see included or create your own design on the day.

Bags of Help
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its Bags of Help initiative across Scotland, England and Wales. The scheme has seen three community groups and projects in each region awarded grants of £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge.
Bags of Help offers community groups and projects in each of Tesco’s 390 regions across the UK a share of revenue generated from the five pence charge levied on single-use carrier bags.
The public voted in store to decide which local groups should receive the £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 awards.
